27th Mar 2006.. our first nites-out outing. Venue : Raffles the Plaza Hotel Level 17 Room XX, South Tower. Very nice room i tell you.. big bed, spacious, nice toilet.. :P loads of pics on it but lazy to upload..hahaha.
Anyway, the gist of this outing was to visit Wild Wild Wet the following day, but alas!! Its close on Tuesday!! Babe forgot about it and was rather guilty.. HUGGIEX its ok babe!! There is always next time.
We checked in around 5pm on the 27th..Yes, its tat late coz i was tied down at work and can only make it then. Relaxed a little and went off to hunt for my surfer shorts coz my existing one had a hole on the side. Found one at Flash n Splash.. love it..bought it..haha its pink and white:P (u know wat happens to it..co zi never got a chance to wear it lor..)
Settled for dinner at Nooch.. Babe's treat :P thanks!! Order quite alot.. so full arh!! Then walked to Suntec to collect our tics for the 9.20pm show for Hills have Eyes. I initially booked normal seats, but as the turnout was rather low on a weekday nite, the director seats in the theatre were empty. So I decided to do an unofficial, illegal upgrade to the director seats (dun say i m cheapo!!).. Great move coz its sofa seats with lotsa privacy and its so comfy!! Hahaha.
The show was ok..not gonna do a review.. coz lazy.. go check out the synopsis. One comment, its not as good as FD3. The gore level is not there.. for me tat is.. but the suspense managed to freak babe out.. once again.. he wanted out halfway :P Got me babe!! All will be fine!! MUACKS.
After the show, went to 7-11 at Marina to get some snacks in case we get hungry thru the nite. Spent quality time in the hotel room, watching movies (again) .. Got up rather early the next morning. Coz we planned to go for a swim in the pool. Not impressed with the pool.. So so.. AND.. i swear to make swimming a regular thingy.. coz.. i missed it!! The strokes are still there, but i kinda lost control over my breathing.. and my stamina sux!!
After the swim, went for breakfast at The Market Place.. the food is not bad..typical buffet-styled breakfast in a hotel.. :P
Checked out at around 1 pm. Since the trip to Wild Wild Wet was a no go, i decided to step into office since there are some urgent things i need to attend to. Babe headed home and met up with his cliques later in the day. I tell you, i was dozing off in office.. coz i slept only 2hrs plus the nite b4..haha..
I am looking forward to visiting the new Cathay cinema. Heard the sound system is great. Friday, 9.25pm, Ice Age 2:P haha
