Just days ago, dear pulled a quick one on me, leaving me overwhelmed with excitement and a ball of confused emo. Today, he sprung yet another surprise...
Like any weekdays, i got up getting prep for work, except on Tuesdays and Tursdays, i would be up much early to send him to school. I got up at 5am, which was earlier then usual coz i wanted to surprised dear initially by preparing breakfast for him. Got everything prep and was ready to go. On my way i called him, only for him to tell me not to go over. He has a major headache and would be missing school today. I was worried and a little disappointed seeing my efforts go to waste. But hey, dear is unwell..he didnt wan to ya? So I headed back home with the breakfast in my hand, gobbling it up upon reaching my door step (cant waste it:P)
Got home and started getting ready for my work. I usually leave home at 8am. But at 7.55am, i got a sms from dear, asking me if i left for work yet. I called him...he picked up... the background on his end was.. noisily familiar... he said :
"Dear, are you leaving for work yet? I am waiting for you downstairs"

I was like WTH?? Aren't you suppose to be sick? I went downstairs to meet him, only to find out that it was all but a coverup coz he wanted to see me to work instead today. Hahaha, knowing his intentions, how can i bear to chide him ya? So sweet of him :) My daily trip to work is unusually boring and i would say.. eventless. I mean, what do u expect out of a morning crowd with stoned faces that dawns the familiar yawns once in a while?
But today's trip was so ... hmmm.. haha NICE.... just had this very warm feeling swirling inside letting your dear send u to work for the first time... all the way to Raffles Place can. Had breakfast together near my office before i send him towards Chinatown MRT.
Just when i thot only i am good in surprises... hahaha... guess dear's not bad too!
